Does it work? Wiibrew isn't helping. My friend wants to buy a new Wii and copy over his legitimately purchased VC/WW games.

the pink fish disc is so old. Dont waste your time. Use bluedump to extract all the vc games, and savegame manager to extract all of the savegames.

Yes, these are the best options.

It only works if you install ios16-v257 or patch the Wii Backup Disc 1.31 iso to load a different ios, like ios 250.
Also, it extracts and installs saves very well. But the vc/wiiware stuff, I think it only extracts and installs what is needed to download from the shop again (I think?).

Those other apps are much better.

It fakesigns to install on other wiis.

Wouldn't Wii Backup disc be a better choice then, if he wanted to keep the signatures legitimate?

ticket files only work on the same wii, not on other wiis thus fakesigning is needed

If you want it to look legitimate, the wii backup disk may be what your looking for. I don't know if it will look legitimate or not, it should.
