I assume this is an issue with the injections themselves, as vWii boots fine and the Nintendont forwarder can run GC games from my SD card. I just don’t have the space for all my games on my SD card and I’d prefer to have all my games on my home screen with the other consoles anyway. Neither injections I created myself with the Injector Tool nor pre-made injections from the USB Helper work (but injections for other consoles from both programs work fine)
I’m using a Sandisk external SSD with a powered USB hub. Could that be the source of the issue? If so could someone recommend a better option? And maybe a cheaper one, I’d prefer to not spend another $100 on a hard drive if I can avoid it lol.
Update: Figured out a (somewhat limited) solution! Just moved my Wii and Gamecube titles onto the system memory and they work fine now. My guess is it has something to do with the reboot into Wii mode, as if the hard drive can’t be read in time for vWii to boot it. I’ve read plenty of times that people typically fix this with a powered hard drive or a Y cable, but my drive is plugged into a powered USB hub plugged into the Wii U and runs all other titles installed on the drive just fine, Wii U included, so there must be something weird going on with vWii and the hard drive.
Anyway, if you stumble across this thread: if all else fails, just move your games onto system memory and accept that you’ll be limited to 32 GB. Not a perfect solution, but a solution nonetheless!
