When softmodding using ModMii, you need to use it TWICE
    • The First time to Softmod the Wii with Bootmii/HBC etc
The Second time - use the 'USB-Loader Setup + Guide' wizard option to get the required IOS etc for USB support
Did you run Modmii a second time ??

EDIT: just looked at your WAD list / guide - that looks more like the guide to JUST softmod the Wii, so I guess you haven't repeated it for the USB support

As for the question of 1Gb SD cards - USUALLY they are standard 'SD' and NOT 'SDHC' cards
In most cases any card over 2Gb are SDHC cards, any cards under are SD cards, with 2Gb cards you MAY find there are some that are 'SD' and some that are 'SDHC'

Nope, 2GB are never SDHC. 0-2GB = SD, 4-32GB = SDHC, with the exception being the rare 4GB SD (NOT SDHC) card.
