    Hey Tempers,

A while back I posted a thread about an RC helicopter I picked up from a wholesaler site. Since then I've purchased two controllers (a PS3 controller for my best friend and a 360 controller for myself to use with OnLive). Today I was browsing their Wii section and, DAMN, there are some pretty good deals here! Lately I've been thinking about creating Dolphin units for my friends who are so damn reluctant to buy Wii consoles and with prices like this, this might be my easiest way to get my friends to join the waggle side of gaming!

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Things needed for Dolphin Emulator

    Bluetooth Adapter
    ($5.15) http://www.dinodirect.com/Bluetooth-V2-0-U...ter-KH-A01.html

    Wireless Sensor Bar
    ($5.15) http://www.dinodirect.com/New-Wireless-Sen...emote-Game.html

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Wii Remotes with Nunchucks

*Sadly the following Wii Remotes DO NOT have Motion Plus inside but at the prices the sets are being sold, I still believe they're worth honorable mentions [IMG] *

    (Blue - $13.84) http://www.dinodirect.com/nintendo-wii-rem...ed-nunchuk.html

    (Black - $15.02) http://www.dinodirect.com/controller-wii.html

    (White w/sleeve - $15.14) http://www.dinodirect.com/controller-contr...e-case-wii.html

    (Pink - $17.00) http://www.dinodirect.com/nintendo-wii-rem...chuk-packs.html

    Wii Motion Plus Adapters

    (White w/sleeve - $10.65) http://www.dinodirect.com/Wii-official-MotionPlus.html

    (Black w/sleeve - $10.73) http://www.dinodirect.com/nintendo-wii-rem...one-sleeve.html

    (Pink & Blue NO sleeve - 11.67) http://www.dinodirect.com/wii-induction-ac...otion-plus.html

    Wii Wheels

    (Pink - $4.35) http://www.dinodirect.com/Steering-Wheel-f...-Game-Pink.html

    (Black - $4.35) http://www.dinodirect.com/Steering-Wheel-f...Game-Black.html

    Zapper

    (White - $6.15) http://www.dinodirect.com/Zapper-Gun-for-Nintendo-Wii.html

    Classic Controller Pro

    (Black & White - $11.58) http://www.dinodirect.com/nintendo-wii-gam...-pro-wired.html

    Sub Machinegun Zapper

Not exactly the cheapest thing on the list but DAMN this thing looks fraking badassed for Call of Duty death matches!

    ($32.62) http://www.dinodirect.com/nintendo-wii-sub...otion-plus.html

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Like I said earlier, I'll probably be working on a bunch of Dolphin Emulator units over the summer so for me, these prices rock! as for the rest of you I just thought you guys might want to know about this and create a discussion. I wonder if this place will have gold remotes available in time for Zelda! That would be awesome! Seriously, I'm going to end up burning a hole in my wallet soon... Must shop moar!!! [IMG]

Thanks bro! Fixed now [IMG] I agree, the stuff there is so cheap, why would I ever want to shop retail for my gaming needs, ever again?

So far, I haven't had any issues with the other two controllers I purchased. As for the listed Wii Remotes, I doubt they're any worse than those Gamestop branded ones in their stores. At least the ones I linked will look and feel like Official controllers [IMG]

I always buy those stuff from PickEgg and Dino, because something is cheaper on PickEgg and some cheaper on Dino.

And my console and stuff rarely have issues either, so I think the Chinese stuff are okay.

BTW the ones you post here are really great. As a thank you, I'm sharing PickEgg with you: http://www.pickegg.com/wholesale/nintendo-...l?welcome=57903.

    http://www.dealextreme.com/p/wireless-sens...wii-4-aaa-26893

    Those are cheaper.

WM+ controllers on DX + sleeve + nunchuk. These will be cheaper in the long run

    http://www.dealextreme.com/p/remote-with-m...wii-white-56396

Half the price of the one you found: (a tad different though)
    http://www.dealextreme.com/p/pega-2-in-1-p...r-for-wii-10653

    or cheaper:
    http://www.dealextreme.com/p/5-in-1-laser-...wii-remote-9642

Can't find cheaper wheels, cheaper zapper, and not worrying about CC pro right now (it's 4 AM here). But, if you haven't ordered from DX before, they're reputable. I've bought about 100 bucks USD worth of stuff and just placed another whole 117 dollar order, which I should have in a week and a half. The shipping is kinda slow, only downside.

Well the shipping is only bad when you pick free shipping. Then again what should we expect lol It's FREE. I have purchased from DealExtreme, a tablet last year that came to me with the touch screen ribbon cable loose [IMG] (some self birthday present that was ) Not knocking the place. I judge them all fairly the same. I do however like Dino's assortment of controllers for some odd reason. Their tablets are fairly cool looking too but they're missing one model that I wish they would get. Aside from all of that, it's fairly reputable and as a community it's always good to backup stores to shop at [IMG]

Just a word of warning about the dinodirect site: I bet those things are knockoffs. It's from china and the prices are too low. The Classic Controller is a fake for sure.

While it *may* work fine you could also have an item that doesn't work as it should. There was an entire batch of fake classic controllers a while back where the right analog stick was reversed. It's a gamble.

You guys must have had some really bad experiences lol. Still, it is true that sometimes it's a gamble then again, that gamble isn't totally killing your pocket and besides, controllers aren't that hard to fix [IMG].

BTW I ordered that Blue Wii Remote w/Nunchuck 3 hours ago. I'll give you all a full report when t comes in!

I puchased the blue remote/nunchuck set and a zapper. Together that was $19.99. Hopefully both items will be here soon. [IMG]

yeah, i've bought wiimotes and nunchucks and they are just ok. the nunchuck stick eventually started eating away at the plastic edges, the wiimotes made a humming noise on some games. i opened them an cut the speaker out. the pointers lag.

anyway, quality wise you get what you pay for. i'd go with nintendo originals on controllers or you'll be buying twice by the time this gen is over. the nunchucks are useless now. the wiimotes i use in rock band instruments so at least for that they are a cheap solution. the motion contrl is completely useless in mario kart. good luck steering

The only third party Wii Remotes I have experience with are the Gamestop ones and I haven't had any major issues. If anything we should all call my purchase an experiment. I'll give you all a full heads up when that controller comes in [IMG]

Hey everyone. This is a bit off topic but here is something I typed up for a forum called OnLive Fans. This will give you all a good idea of my experience with Dino Direct

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hey everyone. It's been a while since this thread has started but I wanted to give you all a little review on the 360 controller linked in the first post. The controller came to my mailbox yesterday in a nicely padded package. It also helped that this controller was also within the official Microsoft clamshell case while in the padded mailing envelope. Once I opened the controller I did aquick comparison of this controler and the OnLive Micro Console controller. The Micro Console controller is a bit heavier. I'm sure that it's safe to assume that the heft of the controller comes from the battery pack that powers its wireless functionality, Here are a few pictures of the two controllers.

As you would expect, the controller has all of the buttons and sticks that any XBox 360 controller would have. Four colored face buttons (A, B, X,and Y) two pushable analog sticks, left and right bumpers and triggers as well as a directional pad. However, there is one feature that is missing from this controller. That feature is rumble. This is where we come back to the subject of buying from Chinese wholesale websites. To their credit, I think Dino Direct has done a great job at packaging and mailing the product in a timely manner (timely depends on which shipping method you choose). The pricing of this item was also very fair. Now, do I feel deceived by this controller? No, and I'll tell you why. It's my understanding that controllers that tend to come from Chinese wholesale sites often times use the same parts from the same factories that make "official" controllers.

The look and feel of this controller is just too authentic to be mistaken for anything else. Official XBox 360 packaging isnt something that can be faked easily. The Microsoft logo is also properly engraved on the top of the controller as well as proper Microsoft stickers placed on this controller. This controller is the real deal, it just has no rumble. I'd imagine that's how this controller is able to be sold at roughly 17 dollars while having all of the proper components that makes an official 360 controller.

Now for the part that most of you here are wondering about. "Does this controller work well with my OnLive Micro Console?" The simple answer is "Yes". As soon as you plug in this controller, the Micro Console automatically picks up on it. All of the buttons work and play like normal and it feels so nice playing a game like "Split/Second" or "Darksiders" with my analog sticks in a place where I feel comfortable having them, This controller gives off the same ammount of comfort as any other 360 coltroller I have held. It's simply lovely. Overall I say that if you purchase this controller, you get exactly what you're paying for. In this case, it's not a bad thing. This controller is a great purchase! You can use it with your Micro Console, your PC and of course an XBox 360. It's a prime example that there are still good deals in the world! Before I go, I will leave you all with some more controller comparison pictures. Have fun

This is all just straight up advertising. It has come to our attention that DinoDirect are using unscrupulous tactics in order to get people to spam GBAtemp with these sort of advertising threads.
