Hey guys. I was just walking my friend through setting up a new wireless connection on his Wii when he accidentally selected "yes" to perform a wii system update. I believe he was running 3.2 or 3.2u, since I hacked it for him a year or 2 ago. But halfway through the update, his connection gave out and the update failed. His HBC is gone and his old wii games keep on asking him to perform an update. I'm gonna be heading to his house in a couple of days, I want to know what I should be prepared for in order to fix it.

I am not sure if it had bootmii or anything. He didn't do a nand backup, either. But as long as the system menu is still functional, I should be able to update to 4.2 with hacks enabled, right?

Thanks guys
