I'd personally rank this as the worst of the wario land titles, it all felt so superficial.

Actually Kirby Epic Yarn shares the exact same developer, and the exact same problems, everything feels out of place, like the gameplay doesn't match the old games, the music isn't fitting, and the new characters don't blend in.

The worst of a great franchise is still a compliment.

This was most certainly different from Wario land, but so was 4.. and 4 is my favorite.

They stand on their own and work great. (Kirby, Wario)

Change is good. Not like they'll keep it that way, for Kirby, anyway.

The difference is that KEY was not originally going to be a Kirby game, but a new IP.
