I really liked the controls of the first one and the overall combat-style and I also played through it but still the level-design was seriously lacking a little.

From what I saw, they added the IR-Pointer for the controls, which I find pointless, since like I said lifting objects with the Nunchuck felt great imo!

Don`t know how they changed the level-design but at least the 2099-Spiderman-like flying/falling sections look fun.

Played the first one on the Wii and it was a decent throwaway game. Played through it once and finished it in like 5-6 hours, never touched it again.

HD versions of this have been getting some lower scores than the previous title which was still seen as an average game.

Ugh, just give me Battlefront III already LucasArts.

I wonder why there's no psp release for this game?
It was cancelled.
With no explanation.

The first one wasn't that great , I admit , but I had quite some fun with it.
So much actually that after finishing it , I acquired the Sith Edition for the PC and finished that one too.....I don't know, I just felt drawn to it.
I hope this one is just as fun t play, at least it's gonna be 5-6 hours of entertainment for me.
Does it use the WM+ by any chance ?

I'll probably give it a run, but the PS3/Xbox 360 versions aren't really getting great reviews yet, so I'm kind of in doubt how the Wii version will fare better in this case.

Well, considering that most games that probably should incorporate Wii MotionPlus support don't, I don't see why this one would. But I honestly don't know.

A few weeks ago I played and finished the Other M.
It was OK, I enjoyed it inspite of a few flaws, and I even went for the items collection re-play.
It left me with more hunger for Metroid, so I digged the Trilogy and deciced to replay the first Metroid Prime ( which I hadn't played on Wii yet, but finished on the GC nearly 10 years ago ! ), after all the game on the Wii has a proper widescreen support, slightly higher texture (compared to the GC ) and Wii remote pointer controls, how could I go wrong ?
In fact I just finished to play MP yesterday evening at 93% of collected items. Not bad !
In the mean time yesterday, I also acquired The Force Unleashed II and put it on my HD, but I didn't want to play it until I finished MP.
After I finished MP yesterday, I played for about an hour with SWTFU2, and to my surprise, the graphic on this game ( and the frame rate ) are f##ing terrible compared to the 10 years old Metroid Prime for the GC !

My point is, how can it be, that a game released in 2010 for the Wii, has worse graphics that a game released in 2001 for the GC ?
I'm not a graphic whore, I usually praise the gameplay ( which in this case is boring and repeatable ), but come on, I was expecting a little bit more of this.
And don't tell me the Wii can't handle it, I was just yesterday appreciating how visually stunning MP still is to this day, and then I popped in this piece of underdeveloped crap.
How lazy have programmers become ?
Or is it the same lame excuse that if you want better graphics you should get a 360ps3 ?
