That boxart looks painfully frightening
This is actually supposed to be a great kids game. I have the PC version however this one will not work with USB loaders for some reason. Anyone know why or how to fix?
It lets you pick your player than it boots back to the dashboard
Fuck I thought that this was some kind of Jump Ultimate Stars for the wii now I'm disappointed .
Piracy protection on shovelware? That's not something you see everyday.
Well not ready to say that yet might just be my ignorance.. The NFO says it works but I tired that and it dont work..
I think this release is broken.. The group says it works, and it does up to where you pick a player and start the game.. I dont think they even tried to PLAY it past the menu...
I have a chipped Wii and when burned, this release does work. I can't get it to work off my HD though using USB Loader GX, so that is still a problem. It does the same thing as described earlier. I hate soft modding, it's such a pain in the ass. I can never just copy a new game to the hard drive and have it work. There's always some other crap to do. Has anyone gotten this to work?
i dont find softmodding a pain at all, out of the 250 or so iso's i've tried to load and run, this one is the first i've experienced with this behavior. doesnt appear to be an alternate dol issue, but gx isnt having it, thats for sure.
I do have a chipped Wii as well. Do you mind telling me if you did the firmware update the disc required?
Im running on wankos 4.1 firmware as well. But when I insert the disc to play it states that there is an update (same as metroid did) I have not run the update in fear it will break something.
What should I do?
I don't know how your Wii is set up, but mine didn't ask for an update. The last update I remember doing is to menu 4.0. I don't think I'm using 4.1.
im sure that even kids wouldnt wanna play this game
I know what you mean. It seems flawed like they tried to port it from PC to Wii and did a really bad job (or maybe it was bad on the PC too). After seeing what it was like I was no longer concerned with getting it to work on my Hard Drive.
Still, I'd like to see it working to make that decision myself ... at least the kids would like to try it, and they're getting frustrated by the error.
I'm not being funny here, but as previously posted, it doesn't work on USBLoader's and more people posting that will not eventually make it so. If you really wanna play it that bad, just buy some discs and burn it, they aren't exactly expensive.
As I said, I'm not being funny, but I could see this post turning into some type of USBLoader support topic.
Peace out ..
