It's an Adventure. You are conan and you can run around the crime scene and do stuff like investigating. Trailer looked pretty cool.

Why is this PAL-version called Case Closed and not Detective Conan? I'm pretty sure the anime is only called Case Closed in the USA.

Anyway, didn't expect that at all. Nice.

Anyone have any screens or videos on the gameplay footage? I've only seen about 1 or 2 episodes of this anime and I thought they were good. So if this game does revolve around the animes then I should probably take a look at it

The game works OK on my NTSC/UC, however, it does NOT support 480P output, so I couldn't use my VGA cable with it ...
Graphics are nice and you can even switch between Japanese and English voices, can't say anything about the game-play nor the story yet ...
I hope that the US release will support 480P output ...

tbh, I don't know alot about it either. All I know is I saw a couple of episodes at 5 AM on CN when I was in 4th grade and I LOVED it, and it must be pretty popular in japan seeing as it has 520 episodes and is still running according to the ever reliant wikipedia. For some reason I cannot find any places to watch it though

Sounds interesting. Can't wait to see some reviews about this, and hoping for a US release.

Somebody has same problems running this game, too? Ive get a black screen and the Wii hangs - I have to reboot.
Mostly every other game is working. I have newest BackupLauncher 0.3 gamma.

Running on a Yowii/Yaosm3, and I can boot from the Disc Channel, and it runs perfectly.

NTSC-U TV/Wii

PAL Disc (Not brickblocked/scrubbed)

Everything is intact on the disc I'm using, including the update.

Question for people playing, how do I get past the 'arcade'? The only game I can't beat is 'Masked Yaiba'... all the others I can get 999 passport points. And how do you talk to C.J.?

I think you have to beat all of the three ardade games(includ that super Yaiba ugly thing

), untill kogoro should give up, then you can proceed.


Still, the game works fine on Pal wii 3.2E modchip Yaosm 2 without touching anything.
