    Turn around
Is this supposed to be a new pikmin game or something else?

This would be the re-release of the original gamecube title ported to the Wii and featuring Wii controls. There are multiple GCN games receiving this treatment (Donkey Kong Jungle Beat already has).

I'm actually curious and interested in trying this out. See how the new controls work.

I wonder if this title will also have the 002 error. I cannot see why not.

[IMG] I am perfectly fine with Nintendo releasing GCN games on the Wii, but come on why not both Pikmin games on one disc? Oh that's right so they can milk people again a second time. Anybody knows how much these re releases are going for over there?

Play-Asia is selling it for $40, which is actually considerably cheaper then I see a lot of games going for. Most Wii games I see are in the range of $50-75 (more popular games, like Bleach, hit the higher end of the price spectrum).

The list price in Japan is 3800 yen. A bit cheaper than most new Wii games.

oh, this japanese release isn't scrubbed.
when it could have compressed well, it isn't scrubbed.

Is there any US release date announced yet ? I didn't find any.
I'm waiting for pikmins and metroids games, just for the fun to play them again on wii [IMG]

I tried playing the original GC Pikmin games on my Wii, but my GC memory card doesn't have much space for save games, so a native Wii version would be very nice.

^^^Nope. Just new controls and thats it. Hopefully theres some new levels like for Jungle Beat but I m pretty sure they said no new content for Pikmin in an interview.

this game stressed me out too much. get to the 30 days and i just fail.

pikmin 2 was more of what i was looking for. more relaxed/laidback.

Because of the fact that this is a rerelease I think that's pathetic! Shame on you Nintendo.

(off course it's all about marketing, just to see how this will turn out in Japanland, if people don't buy it they will never release it outside JP)

EDIT: Oh, by the way, I did just play DK Jungle Beat, and that I loved even better than with the Bongos, for a while that was fun, but with the Nunchuck it plays better
