about an hour (which is far too long to spend on a game with controls that bad).

I don't have the balance board though so it maybe ok with that. with wiimote and nunchuck it is awful.

I'm sorry to hear that the nunchuk + wiimote controllers are bad, but man, the only selling feature was this linking up to the balance board. Someone with a balance board let me know if it's worth having, because if it's a more interactive version of TH, amazing.

I am indeed the bads, but then that doesn't make a difference to the badness of the controls in this game.

Badness 1 doesn't negate badness 2. =]

I'm gonna wait for more comments, a lot of people hated the controls on the 360 Skate and I loved that game.

I'm going to try this one out (using balance board.

) 'cause I LOVE skate (360 version).
I think the 360 Skate has some of the best controls in a videogamer ever.

I think the best thing to do is ignore all comments wether good or bad and try it yourself - relying on other peoples judgement will always end badly.

You'll have to tell me if it works out alright

I want to try it too, but I don't know if it's worth it...

So, tried it out and I must say ,it actually makes fun. It takes a while till you get the controls right but after that, you can do flips and grabs and spins in no time!

Not sure if I would pay the full price for this game, but I must admit, the controls (balance board! ) are really fun.

Still, I wish the graphic was better, I don't like the art style on the characters, they got this comic style. :S

i hope you ignore quim 69 (for name alone!) because this is an awesome game!

balance board controls flow together nicely, and yes it is a steep learning curve, but ive only played 15 mins and it flows together nicely

wiimote and nunchuk are easier to steer but more difficult to manual in my opinion, but equally very solid, accurate and responsive

definitely worth checking out if youre into skateboarding - much better than any of the wii tony hawk games

I don't have a balance board, but I've tried with the Wiimote and Nunchuck and with just the Wiimote.
Just the Wiimote by itself seems to be the better of the two control schemes.
The whole idea of the Wiimote being the skateboard works quite well.
It's a nice challenge after however many years of Tony Hawk games to now have a game that is slightly more realistic.

Why insult a fellow member based on his opinion. I'm glad people give their impressions on this board and he also very clearly states to try it out yourself...

I tried this game for 30 minutes and then I wanted to throw my balance board through the window. It's so unbelievably hard to control the board. I mean I thought my hand/foot/eye coordination was quite good, but this is impossible for me. I cannot steer this way! My body is twitching like a crazy breakdancer on that board. Many times I just fall off, and EVERY F*%&KING TIME this calibration screen comes up again. It's so annoying. In a way it's a good thing that this is almost as difficult as riding the real thing. I mean isn't that what simulation is all about? But even then this game is really making me ANGRY!!!!!

PS: Real Skateboarding has to be lots of easier to learn because you FEEL the board, you FEEL the asphalt, you FEEL the sense of speed and the curves your making. Basically you FEEL THE SENSE OF GRAVITY that comes with skateboarding.
In this game (obviously) I don't feel anything. I just see this little virtual guy that's constantly bumping into the same corner, not being able to turn no matter what he tries, and I think how the f^%^ I have to complete only the turorial.

To me this game is a waste of space, waste of time and a waste of a precious DVD+R (made by Sony)
