I thought Madden had exclusive rights to NFL Players, which is why 2k football has so much trouble. So what's with Brady on the cover with official patriots gear on?

The Backyard Sports NFL deal predates the exclusivity agreement (the series has been going on for a while), so it might have been grandfathered in.
