I like how Namco, Sega and other companies release this kind of crap yearly and nobody ever complains.

I played the US version and I found it kinda boring.
It's just some cheap mini-games game

US release already worked on PAL.
The list of the games here is not very good, i'm missing the original old pac-man game here for example

Namco hates Pole Position but who needs that when you have their favorite games Galaxian (why not just play Galaga), Rally-X (barely remember it), and Mappy (WTF is Mappy) in every Namco Museum?

The US version wasn't great... It had potential but the problem is the "remixed" games are just a pale imitation of the originals. RallyX for example has been ruined... There are some original emulated classics in it as well though but hey, I've got a PC and Mame for stuff like that [IMG]

I totally wish I would have read this shit before buying the game. I was at the shop today and say it for 30 bucks and was like WTF I like pac-man. Original Pac-man is not even on the disc (not like I don't already have a million versions) But still. Then choosing games is a total fucking drag. I mean have an interactive world sure, but give me an option to just get to a menu and play. Really this is a big let down. And how come Ms. Pac Man gets no love?

There's PacMania in this compilation and some obscure PacMan spin-off that I can't remember the name of. In fact, I've had a look at the Wikipedia entry that has this to say:

Cutie Q, Dig Dug, Galaxian, Gaplus, Mappy, Pac & Pal, Pac-Mania, Super Pac-Man and Xevious. It also features re-vamped versions of Pac 'n Roll (previously a Nintendo DS title), Galaga, Motos, Rally X and Gator Panic (originally a redemption game). However, this compilation does not feature the original versions of Galaga, Motos, or the original or "New" versions of Rally X, only the re-vamped versions.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Namco_Museum_Remix

DigDug is an old favourite of mine, as are Galaxian and Gaplus but I can't help thinking that Namco are taking the piss. You know what would be good value? If they just took ALL of their old titles, threw them at an emulator and released that on the Wii. Something akin to Mame but legal and only the Namco stuff... Not 10 old games, not 5 "remixed" ones, just the big fat stinking pile of old roms - THAT would be value for money [IMG]

I don't mind the classics on this compilation but the remixed versions are unbelievably awful, especially the controls on Rally-X, which doesn't appear to know in what direction I'm moving the anologue stick [IMG]
