I totaly agree with what he said in the review regarding the control.
for example: the zoom in the globe DO NOT WORK. no matter how i tried and tried i couldnt get it to work AT ALL.
also the "cameo" parts of the game DO NOT WORK AT ALL. again i tried and tried and i realy tought something is wrong with me.
and then i read this review and got my answer.
but IMHO the NOT WORKING AT ALL parts do not make the game suck, but it makes the game UNPLAYABLE and practicaly USELESS.
i trashed the dvd and thanked god i didnt spend any money on this crap.
i feel realy realy sorry for people who paid for this garbage.

i wrote this in the the usa version topic.
i wonder if the PAL version has broken controls too.
i bet it does.
if so...
stay the hell far far far away from this.

Wondering how much the questions differ from each version. Apparently, the Euro version's questions will differ from the US and Japanese versions so as to be more in tune with the happenings of each country. I heard there would even be a Canada specific one too.

From the USA release thread:
....

EDIT: Update for those that are interested in this game:

This includes many "editions" of the game:
*USA Edition
*Canada Edition
*Quebec Edition
*International English Edition
*British Edition
*French Edition
*German Edition
*Spain Edition
*Italian Edition

It NEEDS the glasses to be played -or the solution from some posts above- and it's multiplayer only, I thought I would be able to play the globetrotter mode by myself, but there's no way to do that -or at least I haven't found out how-, this is a party game for kids, a really good one, possibly one of the 3 best Ubisoft games on the Wii.

BTW I couldn't find any difference between the USA and the Spain version, besides the obvious language difference..
There are not really "questions" in this game, the closest thing to that is the globetrotter mode, but there's no need to change the questions there.

for the "glasses" just use a clear red plastic or anything red enough and transparent to make it "work" ..
also, if you have less then 4 players, this game.. hmm..well... SUCKS

I tried the NTSC this weekend, but the cameo-parts worked fine for me. I couldn't do it at first either, but the second time I got all of them right!

Will check back with the languages when nobody has given them by the time I get there...

Played this tonight with 6 of us - 2 teams of 3. Absolutely great fun.

Pal Wii - WiiKey - Latest Firmware.

I played this (PAL) version, which had lots of different languages, including Brittish English, US English and International English.
We played under both British and US English settings and both worked 100%, even on the "Find The Country" spin the globe sections.

The variety of rounds are great, and the game never out-stayed its welcome.
