Dang. It's too bad this series is mostly only alive in Europe now. =( Game shows seem to be bigger over there as of late. I don't have a PAL Wii or PAL TV set... :'(
Hopefully this isn't as bad as the shit DS version
thanks wabo...but for some reason i can't validate this like i can nds releases
Am I correct in assuming that the goon with the controller is the host of the English version of the series?
This could be fun.
That's Chris Tarrant (did I spell it right?)
I know that and I'm not even British
I'm impressed! You're half a world away from where "British" people live in "Britain".
You spelt his name correctly too.
I have a hard time distinguishing the British and Australian accent sometimes. Well, it takes me a while to figure out. Depends how strong the accents are.
LOL. Look at the first post. > Posts: 1,337
Cool! I loved this game on the DS, eventhough it was pretty shallow. My wife loves the TV show, so we might want to give this a whirl.
Anyone know if there will be a US version or is this all we'll get?
I doubt they'll make a US version. Aside from Jeopardy and The Price is Right, there doesn't seem to be much interest in game shows here now.
He also does an advert for the DS and Brain training here in the UK, so he's obviously got a wedge of Nintendo cash in his wallet. I met him once, he's about 8ft tall!
Anyways, i'm sure this game will be as crappy as all the other WWTBAM games. Not having real cash on offer really takes the edge off games like this.
In closing.....i'll be saving a dvd and playing the old board game of "Triv" with the Mrs instead.
What is wrong with it?
The questions are too British-centric for my liking.
how can the questions be "too british" I guess you mean the subject of the questions are predisposed to an English national.
I mean is it soooo british that it makes you uncontrollably, dart out to make a cup of tea and watch Eastenders!!
What the hell is your problem? He only expressed his opinion. If your national pride is hurt by it, something's wrong with you.
I thought his reply was pretty funny actually, if it wasn't for the 'dick' part in the end
Keep it civil. Or I'll open up a can of whoop-ass! And I'd rather not, that stuff isn't cheap, it's like $10 a pop.
