before anyone asks yes I read on another board this does play on pal
OH Yeah been waiting for this, the Wii should be the best version this year by far... More features, party mode and WFC lets get this game going!!!!
Dolphins FTW baby!
Yes Dolphins FTW...
i live in Miami
oh and just rented 07 with a friend today. Wish they had this on the rack instead :/
How many are going to play online now, before it's official release on Tuesday?
Hmm. This is one of the first early Wii releases for the NTSC region, isn't it?
Hopefully we can look forward to lots more.
You want Nintendo to crack down more on Modders, Keep doing stupid stuff like this....
Crazy how many places this release is out at already. I wish other releases spread this fast. Metroid Prime will for sure.
So... Is this game any good? I know they're monkeying with the controls from '07.
P.S. Poor Vince He's going to be another Madden Cover Curse victim.
Looks good! DO WANT!
I hope they added 360/PS3 content.
Can you use the GC controller or no?
Put Madden back on the cover and let his career fail
This has way more content than 360/ps3/pc versions. EA is taking Wii seriously.
Is it works without firmware update?
They cant prove you're playing with a backup just by going online. My local videogame store was selling Madden 08 last night. Sold out as a matter of fact lol. So there are gonna be people loggin in before Teusday.
Im talking about the player weapons and all that.
Anyone able to play online? I get "searching for opponent" but nobody comes up.
nevermind, found someone. getting my ass kicked atm
I just played online, was very laggy (DS Madden was less laggy) but only one game is nothing to base it on. EA offers lobbies, a friend list, and downloadable rosters (well no new rosters yet) so its a huge benefit over the already excellent Mario Strikers online play.
It was a little bit of a pain to need to register with EA's servers, but understandable.
The game was quit early, at halftime. It gives you three options when the other player quits. Quit and count game, quit and don't count game, or continue playing against CPU. As a little FYI, if you choose quit and count game, it doesn't count in your wins (even though I was leading) but just counts against the other player. If you want it to count in your wins apparently you have to finish the game against the CPU.
At least EA is really serious about improving the very moot online experience offered so far on the Nintendo Wii.
