Seems like us Wiikey owners are beginning to lament our choice of chip. Ippo was one of the most exciting prospects for the Wii (especially after watching this vid.

Hell, I'm still waiting to replay Killer 7!

Oh well, if any lucky bugger gets it working, can you at least tell us all how it plays, cos judging by that video, it looks at least like a step up from Wii Boxing and at the most be the best multiplayer game since Wii Sports.

True. Might not work for another chip. But want to bet on Wiikey releasing an update before everyone else to fix this? Either way, I've accepted that it's not gonna work, at least for a while.

Still it'd be great if we can get some opinions on the game as the series and the GBA game is close to my heart! I mean the game looks genuinely exciting!

Bleh! we need second generation mod chips that have the ability to play all games from all regions.

BTT: Hopefully Hajime no Ippo Revolution gets a US release, cause this is the only game I have been looking for since I've gotten a Wii.

Champion ni naru. Kimochi wo matteru LOL

IIRC, it was the PS2 one which had a limited English release. The GBA and Wii ones probably didn't or won't.

Self explanatory cover here I would imagine. A boxing game based on a boxing-themed anime or manga.

For the PS2 we got two Ippo games by the names Victorious Boxers. The first one is the first Ippo game, the second one is the Hajime no Ippo: All Stars (the third game). The GBA game never got released in the US and the Wii one has not yet been announced for US release.

uhm for the record, wiikey will NEVER update their firmware to make more games playable. 100% of ur own region backups will work , and around 70% of the 2 other regions. Its like this for EVERY drivechip, and it will stay like this. for every drivechip.
