I've played this game on PS2 and Wii and i must say that controls are very good on wii, simplest than on ps2, making easily good combos.

Anybody having problems with the 16:9 mode?
The fighters look like midgets on my screen... [IMG]
My Wii is correctly set to 16:9 an I never had this problem with any game.

No matter what my Wii is set to (4: 3 or 16:9) the ratio doesn't change in MK.

Nope, everything works fine with me.

By the way, the game is nice. I don't need the Kart and Konquest mode, but it's just fun to have a nice fight with Sub-Zero or Scorpion. The Wii controls work quite intuitive.

Yes, both with the NTSC and PAL version, after a couple of tries I was finally able to get a good copy though.

so did you just keep reburning the game to a disk until you had a goos copy?

Yeah basically, with the NTSC versions I gave up after three tries, but with the PAL I finally got a good copy on the second try (Imgburn, 4X). It's weird too because Mortal Kombat is the only game that have given me that much trouble, all other games have worked directly.

i got the us copy- then used RegionFrii to patch it to PAL, then i used Nero to burn it (i think 2x speed) to a DVDRW disc and ALL is Good..been playing it quite a bit- its a good game BUT i still think Mortal Kombat 2 was the best in the series...

I use ImgBurn, but Nero should also work.

I enjoyed this, quite easy to use the controls once you get the hang of it.
