This game is a lot of fun to play. More proof that 2.5D games rock. [IMG]

Yeah... Kirby Air Ride is still the latest console one to come out, and it's over 4 years old.

You actually count that turd of a game? I like to pretend it doesn't exist.

Kinda like the Zelda CD-i games.

Fully agree with Sir VG. This one is kinda like Dreamland 3 for snes (except D3 had a lovely visual style). It's completely offensive to a hardcore Kirby series fan like myself. I remember buying this game many years ago when it came out. Got it from Wal-Mart while on summer vacation down at the beach, and beat it that same day in my spare time. 100% complete. Easy, boring, crap.

There was a sequel in the works for the Gamecube and then the Wii, but who knows if it will ever come out. If it's like this one, it won't be worth the wait at all. Something about Kirby games and 3D just doesn't work well. Air Ride was delayed for several years as well. It's fine by me. He belongs in 2D. What we need is a Kirby Super Star 2 for DS. [IMG]

Isn't Hal pretty much dead? I thought virtually all of their staff left or were let go. I do remember them briefly publishing games in the US, long ago.

Well, they are remaking Kirby Super Star for the DS right now, but it's only listed for a Japanese release...but I'm sure that'll change.

HAL labs has been pretty busy lately with Super Smash Brothers Brawl and Pokemon Ranger 2: Battonage. Yes, HAL actually made both of those games, they're a second party like Bungie used to be.

They are still working on a DS port of Kirby Super Star/Delux, and that GC Kirby has been moved to the Wii, which is still in progress.

I recommend you guys check out the GBA and DS Kirby games. They are pretty good.
