After spending a few months in the official #GBATemp-WiFi IRC channel, I have noticed that many members have shown a level of unawareness about all of the games that are quite enjoyable over Nintendo's Wi-Fi Connection. At times, they are not clear what each game offers in terms of gameplay. There is plenty of games out there for players to enjoy with little to no offline playtime beforehand. I thought I would take a little time and provide everyone more in-depth information about all that you can do. This guide will be updated as future releases are available. Also, I will try to confine the games within the English-speaking world, unless a game is quite friendly to Western eyes or has a translation patch available.

Game types that will not be listed:
· Those that solely involve uploading or downloading high scores.
· Titles that simply offer exchanging level designs, such as Mario Vs. Donkey Kong 2, Mechanic Master, etc.
· Monster collection games, such as the core Pokémon titles, Digimon, etc.
· Card battle games, including Yu-Gi-Oh!, Marvel, Fullmetal, etc.
· Mega Man Star Force series. While it offers co-op, it requires many hours of play, which is not for casual gaming.
· The Castlevania games, as they are for shopping or unlocking a few items after long, offline play sessions.
· The Disney games, as they give you bonus customizations for your Dgamer Avatar (at Disney.com).
· Communication-based functionality, such as Diary Girl or Final Fantasy III.

The reason why I'm not listing the monster collection or card battle games is that these games are obvious as well as they do not offer a leveled playing field between new players and veterans. While they offer some great online entertainment, this guide's goal is to offer the best options for most anyone to simply pick up and play. The rest are too minor or insignificant in regards of value for internet play.

NOTE: This list is obviously incomplete, because it will take a bit of time to detail all of the games presently available. Please, no comments about "why is (insert game) not listed?" or any parallel responses. They will be added, as I work upon this guide. Once again, there is a LOT to input, so your patience is appreciated.

REQUEST: Some titles, as listed at the List of Nintendo DS Wi-Fi Connection Games at Wikipedia, do not have clear information as to what exactly the online portions of each games contains. If you want to contribute, as some have asked since I've started, then contact me in the Official #GBATemp.net IRC Channel for details. Please understand that help is needed for the more obscure games, not the popular titles, such as Clubhouse Games or Tetris DS.

MY SUGGESTION ONLY!! ([IMG])-b

You could also throw in Transformers: Autobots/Decepticons,Custom Beat Battle: Draglade 1 & 2, Diddy Kong Racing DS, Geometry Wars: Galaxies, New International Track & Field and Surf's Up.

If japanese games are allow then you could also include Puyo Puyo 15th Anniversary, Power Pro Kun no DS series, Itadaki Street DS and Mawashite Tsunageru Touch Panic.

Fifa 09, Madden NFL 09, and Metroid Prime Hunters are a must on this list because they offer choices on what level of challenge the player wants and have very stable online gameplay at the moment
