Why is SD card ripping so slow? It takes like 4 hours.

I've not done it since Waninkoko first released his dumper, but it ended up taking more than 4 hours per backup. Are there any alternatives to rip to SD faster? I can't use network or USB atm.

    Thanks.

    It's a fast 2gb sandisk one.

I downloaded SuperDump 3 but it keeps saying "write error". Anyone know where I can find a SuperDump 2 download link that works?

    Thanks!

even "fast" sd cards can be slow to write. My USB Flash drive takes about an hour and a half to rip a game despite having a super fast read speed. It might just be the card

    Gambia, The
"Fast" is a word which you can stretch like hell... SD-Cards are divided in different classes:

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sd_card#Speed_Class_Rating

When you know you're class you can easily calculate how long it would take to dump your 4,5 GB (4.608.000 MB) Game.

And then it also depends on that how much the usb-controller of the Wii could transfer...
