Why has Nintendo not patched Mii Plaza yet?

I would expect that Mii Plaza, being one of the pre-installed games on 3DS, would receive priority support from Nintendo, but it still crashes your device when you try to connect to the eShop.

Like... almost every game now has a message to tell you that the eShop isn't available, but Mii Plaza crashes your 3DS.

How hard would it be to push a v5.1 update with proper shutdown handling?

Or push an update that just stubs the application with a pop-up window, saying the app is no longer available to use, and refuse to launch it.

Because if only 2 people are affected, why bother spending time and money fixing it
