Why don't they have any video game based channels?

I don't usually watch TV, but today I was looking through the channels and noticed... why don't they have any channels dedicated to video games?

(If you say anything about G4 I will punch your tooth)

G4, but I do not see how you are going to punch 1 single tooth. Not many channels dedicated to 1 type of programing. 1 type of programing just will not bring the proper amount of people that is needed to keep the channel up and running.

No someone was interested in buying one and I was not sure I was going to sell it. Still not sure.

On topic:
To have a channel dedicated to one specific thing you need to have the proper funds and funds to keep the channel running otherwise the channel will end up no longer on air.

That show was called filter. G4 has changed a lot and they've bid farewell to most of their gaming shows... Which is why i'm coming to all of your houses to punch your teeth. I would definitely watch a channel throughly dedicated to video games. Whoever said there wasn't enough to cover was not thinking it through. You could look at gaming's past, future, sales, fads, and the like.

Because gaming channels suck. The UK's had a few, they always get shut down because they're dull as dishwater and no-one watches them. They're rather boring to watch; they move far too slowly, dragging everything out until you realise you've spent half an hour watching someone playing one game, or sat through 12 reviews of games you'd never even blink at before hearing something you're interested in. It's just not worth it.

Only one I can think of is Xleague.TV (This is in the UK, by the way)

Pretty much all repeats, and although a load of it is tosh, it does have some decent stuff. Making ofs are pretty cool, and on Thursdays the have a live discussion about stuff (Eg. Female gamers, gta controversy, casuals, etc)

Rise of the video game on Discovery. You dont need an entire channel dedicated to video games. I'm pretty nerdy, but come on =P Just go put the X-Play RSS on your PSP and go play some God of War
