Hacking Why do we downgrade to 10.4 in dsiwarehax?

i remember when 10.7 downgrade was a thing, i even did it. so why are we using 10.4?

From my understanding we rewrite a certain part of the code that tells the 3DS that certain system titles should have a "minimum" version. Basically we replace that version of the code with an older version, and then we can use our other tools to downgrade as "normal".

We downgrade our NATIVE FIRM to 10.4, which allows the downgrading of system titles.
And the firm of 10.7 is the same of the firm of 10.4, it only changed in 11.0
