    Thats my thingy from speedtest.net, you can all see what it says.

    My question is, why do I only upload at a max of 70kbps and download at a max of 500kbps
    All my ports are forwarded correctly and Im clever

    Because kilobytes != kilobits
    You're getting the correct speed, it's just that they are different measure units.

    Try:

    http://www.speakeasy.net/speedtest/

    In the end you'll get your speeds on both kbits and kbytes.

    500kbps is nothing to complain about. You're good to go.

    I get 100kbps max on usenet with verizon dsl...it's pretty teribble but also cheap..

    I misread what azures was saying, its actually 300kbps, which is really good, I was more interested in getting my upload higher, I want insane ratios on invite sites lol

    Its a bit slow with my download speed as it should be 20mb and not 14. My upload speed should also be around 1mb. Its probably because I'm a distance away from the server that I have to use to test the speed.
