Maybe it is a product of being hacked, but I always have a screen with picture of sd card and 3 other things and it is non responsive and when I hit reset then the console starts into the menu. I'm a noob, so please forgive me. I did a google search but didn't see anything.

Alternatively you can edit the files on sd card and set it to autoboot to HBC with a delay of 3 or 5 seconds.

Use this to make your bootmii.ini file:

I recommend setting the BOOTDELAY value to 1 so you can still access the bootmii menu (press POWER as soon as you see the bootmii screen to stop the countdown) and it will only slow down your boot time by 1 second.
FYI, ModMii can build custom bootmii.ini files too

Also, BootMii Configuration Editor, an oldie but a goodie that runs on the Wii. Also allows you to swap between different BootMii folders as well.

yea, there's a bunch of awesome tools out there to help you switch between different folders for different setups

bootmiiswitch
switch2sneek
switch2uneek
WiiXplorer (rename anything manually using a browser-like interface and more)

Shit... i'm sure I'm forgetting another 1 or 2

cBoot2, SNEEK, UNEEK, and different types of Linux all use the bootmii folder. I use BootMii Configuration Editor myself, but for one-time edits it's easier just to give people the exe file.

different bootmii folders can allow you to launch bootmii or uneek or sneek then switch back to your real wii system menu

edit:
this info isn't really required for your average user though, but you asked why you would want to do that, so I answered, lol

Lol, so you don't have 2 minutes to test something for me, but you have plenty of time to repeat what I already said? I say LIES!

PS: Sorry to go off topic.
