Hacking Why can't we use a R4 SDHC RTS LITE for NTRBoot?

if i remember right, the nds flashcarts that support it must have re-writable firmware. I would guess that that one does not

I might be supported at some point since it has a flashable firmware. The team needs to find out how to do it for each card so it takes time and some time they have no information on the card which makes it even harder.

Each card has to be specifically reverse engineered to work with ntrboot, and the developers did not have one of those cards.

I have a 2015 version of said cart, so I'm personally trying to follow any info on this, and the issues section of flascart_core has become a frequented site now. You can see here that one of the contributors is going to receive a card in the r4isdhc.com family (I believe all are the same, but each with a different and special function or whatever), so this is a waiting game.

There are a myriad of flashcards under the moniker of "r4". They are all made by different companies and all function different. Each type of r4 needs to be reverse engineered (except ones that are clones of ones that already work) in order to be added to the compatibility list for ntrboot.
