Received confirmation of the WiiFit being dispatched which started me thinking who else would be buying one and why. I am a 39 year old male who is significantly under weight but is buying WiiFit for the future developments of the balance board not for any other reason but will try all the training programs. I am sure that my wife will be using it almost everyday to help loose weight.

So why are you buying it?

    Who says I'm buying it?

Well, i may buy it. But not at £70. I'll maybe import the American version which is cheaper.

I know that, but if you shop around, you can, as I said, get it much cheaper [IMG]

I'm buying it because my girlfriend is Japanese and she will promptly beat me up with her cuteness if I don't.

I'm not because I already have stairs in my house that are a viable alternative when combined with an mp3 player and a bunch of pretty pictures stuck on a wall.

Not buying since it'll cost £70 over in the UK... not worth it. Can buy two other wii games for that price.

I did ... you said it would cost £70 in the UK, and I'm telling you it doesn't cost £70 in the UK ... you can get it for under £60 ... £69.99 is the RRP, and nowhere is selling it for that much ...

it's too expensive right now but i am buying to weigh my body mass, i might as well do it in a fun way than using normal scales and maybe it will get me more more active, i was thinking of downloading the pal version and buying the board from ebay but i'm sure the board itself will be inflated in price so i'm not sure yet.

    I didn't say it'd cost over £70, it'll cost £70, at RRP (who cares if it's 1 pence difference).

Forget it [IMG], either way it's still pricey for what it is.

I'm not trying to lose or gain weight, just getting older and want to stay healthy.

I work out at the gym 3 times per week, sometimes with a personal trainer, group classes or by myself. I'm looking at Wii Fit as a supplement for the days I don't go to the gym.

A quality scale is $60. If nothing else, Wii Fit will be the best BMI scale I've ever owned.
