Sorry if this is in the wrong section... Please move accordingly if necessary. Couldn't find a Bug Reports section.

Anyway, I started seeing ads in threads again today. Why is this?

Oh, well in that case, I'm cool with ads. If we have a 'forever' sponsor that fully covers our costs...

    Thanks, etcome.com!

You can get rid of the ads by using adblock. I presently have an ad-free experience.

The ads were annoying even with adblock. I had to block the ad about 15 times to finally get rid of them for good. Pretty sure there's multiple versions of the banner.

But, all better now. Ads annoy the crap out of me.

I'm cool with them as long as I know they're not 'inappropriate' or going to infect me... Not that I didn't trust the ads before, but I trust them more now since they are all from one shop...

The ads being hosted on this site means you don't run into the issue of possible infection via an advertisement drive-by as well.

Costello: Can you add a 'Remove this Ad' button to the ad that's between first and second post that removes that one but leaves the one at the bottom?
