Well the title says it all really.
Just pulled an all nighter on MW2 and am regretting it considerably now.

I gotta go to lectures at 12 and have 4 hours solid before i can come home and go to bed, some 33 hours without sleep or something.

Am i just stupid or what?

Ive been off work for the past 9 days.

Doctor says Im depressed. I've been prescribed anti-depressants.

I meant ot go back yesterday but i couldnt face it when i woke up. Same today.

I really have to go back tomorrow but I know they;re gonna give me a load of abuse for being off sick for so long.

Feels bad man.

Shit, I'm sorry man, if the doctor said you were depressed then you at least have a good reason for being off sick, they can't give you crap for that.

Hope you start feeling better soon.

I'm amazed anyone could stand to play CoD for more then an hour.

Most recently I pulled an all nighter with Bioshock 2, haha. Sleep is much, much more wonderful when you're deprived of it.

That is exceedingly true. I managed to get 4 hours of sleep in after lectures, woke up, had some food and then went right back to sleep again until 8 this morning.

CoD is a little addictive, when i first got it I completed the single player in one 5 hour sitting but did not do the same thing for veteran...took me about 1.5 hours longer so is a good thing i didn't

true, CoD is addictive. But I can't pull up an all-nighter for it.. Maybe I'm just bad..

Whatever you are good with
tongue.gif

I found that i managed to rack up loads of kills with the Scar and have now maxed out the experience from that.
Now I've moved onto the M16 which i find is not as good.

But of course it depends on the map really. Nice big maps (Derail, Wasteland etc.) I'd recommend the sniper rifle.

Gonna try the Scar then.

I was a tad boring and used Intervention with AOG scope and lightweight and marathon. Just for Knifing and for quick scope's. It's fun too.

I haven't been gaming for such a long time. Been mostly busy with sleep, hardware tinkering and checking GBAtemp frequently.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Hope you've had a good morning.
  • Maximumbeans @ Maximumbeans:
It's going alright thanks :) I know what you mean with gaming time. It's precious where I can get it these days.

I think that's why I focus on just enjoying single player experiences that aren't too competitive
  • Maximumbeans @ Maximumbeans:
    How are you doing?
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
There's also this thing where I'm hyperfocused at night and cannot get to sleep.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
    @Maximumbeans, I'm doing alright, thanks.

That must be rough. Productive I'm sure but hard to balance with daily life

@Maximumbeans, Indeed. I've been working on getting this Infecutus chip to work on my PS2. But after soldering, I realised that a plastic piece was missing from the power ribbon cable to the power and eject buttons.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Now I could go with soldering the contacts from the cable to the connector on the mobo, but doesn't sound like a good permanent solution.
  • Maximumbeans @ Maximumbeans:
Man, that's beyond my brain  I'm no good with hardware for now. I'd like to get into hardmods in future though
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Maximumbeans, Maybe start practice soldering. Get a cheap-ass soldering iron and follow some good YouTube tutorials.

  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Least my experience has gotten better than over a decade ago. My iron would constantly bump into components and break them.
  • Maximumbeans @ Maximumbeans:
Sounds good. I actually did soldering but like 16 years ago for school so uuuuh probably rusty haha
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Maximumbeans, Same here. I did soldering at school from a teacher who I honestly liked since he had plenty of good electronics experience.

@Maximumbeans, I had a friend who had a glass chess set for their birthday.

It was like all clear and fancy. Tbf I'm not too experienced with chess, but would like to learn someday.
