. People have died at a Guns & Roses concert. Now thats Hard Rock(Or Heavy Metal, I prefer to call GNR Hard Rock

). Nickelback is overhyped way too much over here, is it the same in the UK?

They got quite popular 6 years ago when Silver Side Up came out, "How You Remind Me" was a big hit over here and I loved that album. But except for that song on the Spiderman soundtrack they haven't really done anything that's made it into the public eye since then.

If anything they've become one of those "bands that it's cool to hate", you can never tell if the people who say they don't like them really hate them or if they're just posing. So it's hard to say.
