My download site of choice has recently acquired the EUR version of the White Knight Chronicles Origins ISO (don't ask where) and I'm curious. The site gives details as to whether the game's recieved a patch or fix yet, and in this case it says no, tested on the firmware I'm using. Now I'm not sure whether this means it's not working, or that it simply doesn't require a patch. Does anyone know if the game will work on Prometheus 4? See, with my net connection being so utterly turd and the game being pretty damn big, downloading it is an all day job. I'd rather not waste my time if it's not gonna work.

So, has anyone else downloaded this yet? Confirmation either way?

If it's not working you could just patch it yourself, or get a better site.

How would I go about patching it if the patch hasnt been made yet? Surely each game requires a unique patch, same as the DS? It was only dumped a few hours ago. I'm just curious if anyone's tried it yet.

No, I'm pretty sure ISOTool does all the things for you. I've already patched games myself before.
And the game is already up and PATCHED in other sites, which I obviously can't mention here.

Just curious, does this game require an Online Pass to play online?

Not hard to find where you...let's say "shop" for your ISO's. [IMG]

From what I've discovered with said site, tested implies that it worked. They generally either don't list it, or make a special note if it requires patching to work. Regardless, I have yet to find a game that doesn't work with Prome-4.

Nevermind my question, it DOES need an Online Pass

It's working for me. I just got pretty odd bug. When you get to the train and one maid like outfit having girl will come to first time introduce itself, she's in T-position and her head was spinning upside down that whole first scene. After that no bugs or what so ever. Only down side are low frame rate in quest fields. That should be higher since fields was made into rooms.

Luckily, my copy of White Knight Chronicles 2 is coming in Monday. [IMG]

Meh, it's alright. I played a bit but it wasn't very compelling for me. I deleted it off my Go in favor of some other games. It's not bad at all but it wasn't really thrilling for me.

The load times aren't bad but a data install wouldn't hurt.

The game is pretty fun. My only complaint is the rather low framerate. I mean, God Eater Burst could handle 4 characters in a big field + multiple large Aragami and there still isn't any lag at all, I don't see why this game's framerate is like this, considering the fact that the entire area is split into multiple maps like Phantasy Star (which has no lag problems) compared to God Eater Burst's one huge map (which is more likely to have framerate issues but it does not).

Isnt WKC 2 coming in August? Unless you are buying the japanese one.

Ah and it works fine on my Pro-B6 6.20. Not sure if it is patched or untouched.. But i believe it is untouched.

    WKC2 came out yesterday (UK).

As for WKC, first impressions? Not good.
I will keep it on my PSP for when I get bored of my other games though.

    Ahhh well, tis a shame.

I'll trust your opinion on that cos I've noticed we tend to have the same preference/opinions in PSP titles. [IMG]
