Hardware White borders on GBA SP LCD screen

Hi guys.
I just wanted to know if there is some way to fix the white borders shown in the pictures below.

They can be better seen in the upper-right (which extends faintly to the left side and a bit down) and the below-left corners.
I already tried turning the little screw under the battery, but it seems to adjust the screen refresh rate (at least is what it seems to do).
It's still totally playable, but sometimes it seems I'm in a "dream", lol.
This is AGS-101. Happens with any game.

Straight up just looks like a issue with the LCD itself. Only options are to replace the screen or think of them as a fancy feature.
