Hacking While waiting for my CycloDS

I just bought an R4 (needed something to do while waiting for my CycloDS Evo)

now I have already figured out that you can replace the MoonShell loader with Rudolph's 3in1 loader by simply renaming the .NDS to the same as Moonshell's .NDS and putting it in the root of your SD card. This then lets me launch it from the middle icon as I have never had the need to use MoonShell, great software just not for me.

Is there anything else you can think of that would be a good replacement for the middle icon App, and is there any way to get rid of the Boot Slot-2 option and replace it with another custom App (I'm guessing no) as I have FlashMe installed so have no need of the passme functionality.

Got the R4 as I know nothing about the DS One.

I still cant get over the fact Amazon is selling these DS Flash Carts

In an attempt to steer this thread somewhat back on course, you can use the middle icon as a shortcut to a favourite game. And make the save file the same name.

You sure are lucky, I'm amazed that they got R4's at the computer fairs now...I got to go check out the one's near me again. (South London, so it's Crystal Palace!)

I had to order from winsunx and paid a lot more (postage etc) when the R4 first came out, but absolutely no regrets.

R4 is a great cart.

All the carts are awesome in some way...I admit Acekard RPG is prolly the best atm then CycloDS and then maybe EZV etc, it's a long list. R4 is only trailing a 'cos the new software is late. They have easily outsold all the competition tenfold.

As long as the new R4 1.12 ("When" it comes out!

) fixes the 100% compatability, I think R4 will go into second place if they keep all their promises. R4 has been around for a long time and still does the job great.

Compared to the good old days of the EZFA, the R4 days are much cheaper as well as better!

Anyone know if there is a way to alter the "pulsing" select icon in the skin? I have made my own skin and used an organiser icon for the middle, but cannot find a way to alter either the colour of the pulsing or the transparency.

There is no way to remove it but you can change the color VIA the theme.ini of the theme your using.
