Which version of FF1 to play?

I'm planning on finally playing the older FF games starting with 1. Which is the better version, GBA or PSP?

If you have them both already, or can easily get them both for free.

Then I would suggest the PSP version. It includes the extra dungeons contained in the GBA version, plus has a couple of pretty cinematics, and it is in widescreen to boot.

So, go for the PSP only if you can get it for free. Otherwise get the GBA version as it contains both part 1 and part 2 on teh same cart.

I had no idea FF1 & 2 had been redone for PSP! Maybe I'll check them out someday.

i thought psp and gba versions were just direct ports?
