2DS if you also want to play 3DS games as well as DS but the screens are inferior to the picture quality on the ones on DS Lite.

If you hold START + SELECT while booting up DS cartridges or DSi Ware titles, the game will boot with a 1:1 pixel ratio.

I meant the picture quality not the AR. This is one of the reasons I dislike the 2DS.
Isn't the picture quality good if I want to play 3DS games? Or do you mean that the quality isn't good with DS games?

IKR the screen is small enough but then with massive black bars round it too.
Wait what? :O
The screen is already "small" enough as it is, will I have massive black bars around it when I play 3Ds and DS games?

The colours are washed off so if you haven't gotten used to DS Lite and Standard 3DS / New 3DS then you might not notice it and be OK with it. 2DS is better for kids, tbh.

$47? You can find a DS Lite for MUCH cheaper on sites like eBay. I got mine for around $20 CAD. (So, like, around $15 USD)

Anyways, I'd suggest getting a 2DS since most 2DSes are on a firmware lower than 9.2, which is exploitable, and the 2DS can run also DS games.
EDIT: Just stay away from the Yokai Watch bundle.

I've seen suspiciously high serial numbers on some bundles (like NSMB/Tomodachi Life/...), when I bought mine.
However, 2DSes with serials starting with A**100* should be fine.

With a <=9.2 2DS you can play GBA games too.

I have never owned a DS lite before so I may not notice it...
But is it that bad that I might notice it? :)
Also does this only happens with 2DS? Or is it also washed off with the 3DS?

It's the same on 2DS and every 3DS model. It's because the screen resolution isn't as big as it is on the original DS or DS Lite so they have to scale it to the screen.

Holding start or select while starting up a DS game, as explained before, will run DS games at 1:1 pixel ratio, but you will have black bars around the screens.

As far as I'm concerned, DS games look good enough even when upscaled to the 3DS's screen size.

I think I can get used to that. My only concern right now is where I can find and buy the R4i gold that ships the product to sweden..
I find this website: http://gamedepot4u.com/genuine-r4i-gold-3ds-for-3ds-ds-dsl-dsi-v145-p-181.html
But I have to buy 10 of them in order to make an purchase... Do you know any other website I can one?
I looked into the site you linked: r4ids.cn, I think I will take a second look and see if there a site that ships them to sweden. :)

http://nds-card.com/ is a good one, they sponsor gbatemp and I believe every purchase made there give some money to gbatemp. Pretty sure they can be trusted.
They ship from China though and free shipping, so it may take a long time for anything to arrive. :P

It will take a while if you choose free shipping. Just choose some form of paid shipping and it should get there faster.
