    I recently purchased an M3 simply with a 2gb card and have found it to work perfectly, fitting about 30 NDS ROMS on it. However I would also like to play GBA games so I was thinking of buying a Slot 2 device, so that I can play NDS games on the M3 Simply and GBA games on the slot 2 device. I have been looking at the G6 Lite 4Gb slot 2 cart and have been very impressed. However I have a few questions;

    1. If I leave my M3 simply in slot 1 will I be able to put the G6 Lite 4Gb into slot 2 so that I can keep both in the DS at all times, can I pick between the 2 when I start up the DS?

    2. Do I need some sort of seperate card with the G6 Lite 4Gb? Considering I am only using it for GBA roms I don't see why I should but I am just checking.

    3. If the G6 Lite 4Gb needs no seperate card, roughly how many games could I fit on it?

    Thanks a lot for any help, I appreciate any advice [IMG]

    question 3 would all depend on the size of the roms put on there but if it's a 4gb card i'd say why worry about how many you will fit on there. i've been mulling over getting a slot 2 card for gba games for a while and while i'm not using it i thought my son could (i may just get 2 anyway).

    well question 1 i may be wrong but because it's the primary card (The m3dss) it boots up first and you then divert to slot 2 from there. it does however use up more battery power (so i've heard) so it's a matter of taking the m3 out booting up the slot 2 and then putting the m3 in again. 1. If the M3ds is anything like the R4 then i dont think so. You will need to take out the m3 for the ds to bring you to the main screen where you can choose it.

    2. What youre talking about is a passcard, and you dont need it for gba.
    The passcard is only needed when trying to play ds games from slot 2.

    3. The largest GBA games are 256Mbit, but average ones are 128Mb. Doing the math means 4096/128 = 32 gba games
    If youre like me and have played most gba games, then theres no point getting a dedicated slot 2 card, especially one as expensive as G6. If youre only gonna play a few at a time then i would suggest getting a EZ flash 3 in , or if you want a cheaper alternative to the G6 then get a EZ flash IV.
    The alternative memory makes it flexible and its nearly half the price of a G6. Yet theres always a catch...It has no RTC and that makes a nonpatched Pokemon fail. Also, the games need to be patched through the EZ 4 client rather than allowing for Clean drag and drop

    Nah, all the saves fail if you just drag n drop.
    They have to be patched with the EZ4 client
