Hi fellow strategy playing ds fellows!

I'm interested in picking up a new game to play and hopefully spend several hours with.
I loose interest in games fast if they are not AAA titles.

So now I'm trying to decide between Age of empire to ds or Advance war to ds.

You members that have experience from these games please post your thoughts and your choice [IMG]
    Thank you.

    Advaaaaance Waaaars DS!

Can't say I've played Age of Empires DS but having played the GBA versions of AW to death already I wasn't expecting AW:DS to hold me for long - how wrong I was! Advance Wars DS is totally adictive, definately worth checking out.

Advance wars is what you should get. AoE is not as the PC version. It's turn based and boring.

Isnt advanced wars also turnbased? [IMG]

I find turnbased fun sometimes as it often gives you more strategy in the way you place your armies and such.

Age of Empires, it's vastly superior to Advance Wars in my opinion. Admittedly, AW has a nicer theme, but I far prefer the strategy from AoE.

Advance Wars, of course. That is a MUST HAVE for the DS. Age of Empires should stick to the PC version, IMO.

Whole heartedly, Real-time Conflict: Shogun Empires.

Do not listen to anything I say.

I played them both, and I liked AW DS the most.
Good game, and it feels so much better then AoE II.

But offcourse, you can download them both [IMG]

    Advance wars Deeee-eeeS!

Seriously, you'll be sawing your brain in half out of rage because you can't get past the later levels. It's great though.

So I went and picked up advanced wars.
I must say the music is horrid ^^; Good thing I can turn it off and put on a little Bob Marley in the background.

I haven't played so much right now, just around 6-7 levels. So not really feeling it at the moment. How long in did it take for you guys to fall in love with it?
