luigi mansion did get a sequel on the 3ds, and a port of the original luigi mansion will be released on 3ds next year too so no its not dead.


tbh i think when nintendo releases their next mario maker it will include a 2d mario game story made with mario maker too. for this year? probably no more releases imo, i mean pokemon on november and smash on december , they dont want to reduce sales of their own games at all imo.

Could be indead. I still hope Nintendo ports it over at one point in the Switch Lifetime though. I would love to play it on the go!

Personally, 3D world seems repetitive and kind of a cash grab. I actually liked Odyssey better, although a little gimmicky. I'd be interested to see what's in a 3DW sequel, as Ninty seems to be putting in a bit more creative work on this platform

Taking everything from 3d land and stretching it out. IMO, that game came 100% from Marketing telling the dev team that they had to crank out something to keep the dollars coming in. "Do the same thing, but bigger!"

As the title says, I don't think Nintendo is just going with Super Mario Party, Pokemon Let's Go, Xenoblade 2 Expansion and Super Smash Ultimate for the rest of 2018.

Perhaps some more Wii U ports, Wii/GameCube virtual console (NVIDIA Shield has been shown running Super Mario Galaxy in 1080P with in-house emulator licensed by Nintendo) or maybe we'll get Pikmin 4 in the next Direct and playable at TGS 2018...
