There's 7 pawn shops in my city 3 were closed, the other 4 not one PS4. I would have thought people would be pawning more than buying during this, but I guess not.

If you look up a few posts I tried that first, no luck so far. I'm not going to buy from someone with like 0 or 3 feedback because they could be a scammer. And everyone else has firmware like 7.51. It's harder now than ever I think. Not giving up but it's difficult.

My findings (Ebay and Amazon)

-If you're willing to spend $400, you can get one for sure and brand new. It will be 500 gb
-If you're only willing to spend under $300, it's going to be a lot more difficult. Probably not controller and used.

I bought one used yesterday and got lucky (thanks to help from Goku1992) $275 + $27 shipping + tax. No controller 1 TB on 5.05. But I have a strange feelings I'm not going to get it. The seller sold 4 PS4s all the sudden in the last day, and they never sold one before, and it's been a day and so far no indication they're going to ship. I hope I'm wrong and they ships soon but if not I'll be looking for another one.

Target and Bestbuy have 2215B Slim models that are on Firmware 7.50. Needs to be a bundle, or else you're risking it. Also, return it instantly without opening if the sale page states that it's a model # lower than CUH-2215, but arrives as 2215 regardless.

I now have two PS4s on 5.05 coming from Ebay. I bought one didn't think the seller was going to send and bought another one, then the first seller replied, so I've paid about $700 lol. I'm not mad though my thinking is it's not a bad thing to have two of these with the exploit coming, the cost could go up.

Bundles are all discontinued from my finding (except last of us II and some bundle from December 2019 with 3 games) both are going to have firmwares too high. So you have to buy from a seller who will price gauge. Expect to pay at least $400 for a new one.

The firmware is not the issue anyone selling those now is not Amazon selling them at retail price, they are re-sellers and they are selling them for a higher price than when they were being sold retial.

Like I've been saying if you're willing to spend $400, you can get one. But don't expect to spend $299 which is retail price for a 1 TB PS4 Slim.

I already had a black ps4 pro on 5.05 and the spiderman version came with 5.55.
I just wanted to say the fw of a new console. That's all.
Ofcourse I got Spidey on launch and now it's going for 1000 usd

Any bundle other than Last of Us II or the 3 game bundle called "Only on Playstation" that came with 3 games should be fine. The problem is, they're all discontinued and not cheap.

Isn't it obvious ? That discontinued bundles are always costlier and resellers if they come to know about potential hacks they jack up the prices. It applies to all systems like the switch.
