Hacking Which microSD card to get?

I have been looking online and in most cases the R4 DS is paired up with a 1GB Kingston (Japan Version). Will that work well with it?

the kingston is however just a rebadged Toshiba 1gb card, so if you can find toshiba cards easier or cheaper then go for those instead.

I concur. It's too bad that the R4 cannot support anything bigger than 2 GB.

Thats ok, kingston has great tech/rma support for replacing defective kingston 2gb MicroSD's, got a replacement in a week!
