Snes9X GX is far better than the Virtual Console - more flexibility, support for EVERY game, save states, more controllers supported... Need I say more?

Even if it's only 1 snes game you want to play, I'd go with snes9x. save states is more than enough reason for me (though the extra control options are probably even more important if you don't have a classic controller).

you forgot better graphics using filters.

But it has much lower performance if you activate filters.

Snes9x GX is better than VC, but it sucks to emulate Starwing (Ok, it doesn't, but it doesn't go at full speed). Why the fuck Nintendo didn't release that game on VC? It's absurdly epic.

I haven't bothered to try Starwing on Snes9x GX (what's the point?) but I do play StarFox quite often and it emulates at full speed, same with Stunt Race FX.

I used to own Starfox on SNES and it was slow as hell on real hardware, like 9fps during load of enemies on screen! So playing it on SNES9X GX Wii was the same.

Yeah I remember on the earlier builds of Snes9x and ZSNES where the game would run too fast like it was overclocked, they eventually managed to slow the game down to it's correct speed. But yeah, it's slow as hell even @60hz on an NTSC SNES.

There are WiiWare ports of SNES games? Rly?

Technically yes, but it's really just a ROM embedded in an emulator.

You guys apparently dont know what the WiiWare service is.
WiiWare =! VC.
Do you mean Wiiware =/= VC?
