Gaming which guitar hero/rock band game

allows you to have 2 guitars playing the same parts? i dont want guitar and bass or guitar take it in turns, i want 2 people playing the exact same notes at the same time

Guitar Hero's last couple of games did that, but Rock Band 1 and 2 have a competitive mode for it, and Guitar Hero may have done the competitive one as well, but I really only have played Rock Band.

when you say competitive what do you mean? is it play one at a time battle type or at the same time + same parts?

Same time, same parts. I think it's called "Pro Face-Off" in game.
