Which folders of my sd card from a o3ds with cfw can I use on my n3ds with cfw?

Hey.
I sold my o3ds xl a long while ago without my sd card (micro sd to sd or whatever it’s called) . It had cfw and I dumped my original games as well, they should be somewhere on my sd card. There was also a homebrew software on my o3ds that I used to save my save games, it was called something like JKSV.

A lot of time has past now, so I forgot many things about 3Ds cfw.
I am grabbing today a new 3Ds xl and I am going to install cfw on it.
I would like to know if I could use my old micro sd card after I installed cfw on my n3ds ?
If I remember right, it would be a bad idea because there are also the Luma files, configurations etc.
So instead I would just remove all folders except the ones where my dumped games are and my save data. Can someone tell me where these files are saved at ? So I make sure to not delete these folders.

Ps. Another question: My n3ds xl is in a new condition, so it never got updated. I know I can install cfw on the latest firmware as well. But would it be better if I install cfw before updating the firmware and once I got it, to update to the newest firmware or is there no difference and benefit ?

Update the firmware first before you jailbreak the New 3DS XL. I don't think the games on your old SD card will work since it would be tied to the ID of your old 3DS.

Well. they said the games were dumped. So hopefully the cia files will be there. and the saves on jksv will just need to be injected back once each one is installed.

Thanks a lot. Yeah the games are dumped. I thought anotherthing understood me so I thought I couldn’t play my original dumped game really. Wouldn’t matter anyways since I could play Roms / .cia as well but seems like my original games work fine, so I don’t need to get roms .

I will search my sd card for .cia files later when I grabbed my n3Ds XL.

Well. they said the games were dumped. So hopefully the cia files will be there.

They'd only be on there if he put the CIA files on there manually and didn't use the "Install and Delete CIA File" option in FBI. Universal Updater and hShop both automatically remove the CIA after they install something.

Yeah so the games will be there still . I dumped them because I was selling that console. So after I dumped my games, I never used the console anymore. Didn’t install anything etc. And didn’t use fbi either. So i am fine
