Hardware Which European games includes the 3.2E wii update?

Hey all, I am new to Wii and this forum! Thanks for answering my question!!!

I know that we can not update to 3.3E at the moment, because it will block us from playing crossing region and hacked games!

But my wii version is still at 2.x, so there are too many new games out there that I can not play!!


I have wi-fi connection for my Wii, and I understand that updating wii via WIFI is the safest way, because I will always get the right update for my region! My question is, if I do so, will I update my wii to the latest version (3.3E)? or can i choose which version to update to?

If that fail, what games out there include wii update 3.2E?

Update with wifi to 3.3 E. Then Download starfall 0.5 Install Region free mod.
And Disable updates from disc mod. And then you can play regionfree games.

Starfall will only work on 3.2E and 3.2u...

the best thing is a game like MK:Wii that has 3.2 on it then follow the advice for installing starfall

I haven't tried it but couldn't you:

1. Install the HBC
2. Upgrade online to v3.3
3. Use the downgrader to go down to v3.2
4. Patch with Starfall

You could also update with WiFi and use Gecko OS for you're region free / Trucha needs.

If you install the Homebrew Channel and use the downgrader, i'm sure you can upgrade o 3.2x. I don't know though.

I can't properly answer this question, but I know it does NOT have 3.3e, as I'm on 3.2e and it has never asked for an update
so I'm guessing it's 3.2e

Super Smash Bros Brawl don't have the 3.2E update.

It works fine on my 3.1E (untouched, no modchip or hack) and it never updated the firmware.

It just seems to patch the system for a better Dual Layer compatibility or something like that.

Even some new games (like Samba de Amigo, Star Wars : The Unleashed Power, etc...) released in September in PAL) don't have the 3.2E update.
