You can not play N64 games with a wiimote.

Well it depends, on SNES9X you can but on the Virtual Console you can't.

Not real snes vc games, but with the snes emu (which can be implemented on unmodded wiis) you can.

Behind you! I know you looked!
How come no-one's hacked in Wiimote support for injected VC games and current ones? I would've thought it would be relatively easy to get the Wii to accept the Wiimote to play VC games. Or is there something I'm not seeing here?

    Gambia, The
cause a) it would be absolutely senseless (what good do 4 buttons in a REALLY crappy order do you for snes or neogeo?) and b) there's no sourcecode for the emulators, making it a real bitch to modify anything.

Godfromdfo, I get where you're coming from. Super Smash Bros. on Wii is sweet - but the available pads are all wrong if you're used to the intended control scheme. To put it modestly I am good at the game, but I just can't play it on Wii. Unofficial Gamecube pads are around £2.50 on the high street, so that might be your best option if the game's new for you. Otherwise I'd recommend re-wiring an N64 pad.
