I was wondering when it comes to the games you download do you wait for the game to be dumped for your region (E,U,etc)

Unless it's a game i've been dying to play or has no chance of a U.S. release anytime soon I usually wait for the U version to be dropped out of habbit mine from all the way back in the nineties when I first got into emulation.

Even if an E version comes out first I'll just wait for some stupid reason for the U rom to be dumped (still waiting on sonic Adventure U). If I can't wait I usually download the U version of a game when it comes out, even though I'm on dialup, I'll download the same game twice and I have no idea why...souds stupid huh.

If I can read it, or if the game doesn't require that I can read it (e.g. Ouendan), then its fine. Whether its (U) or (E) is trivial most of the time.

(U) games are usually smaller sized due to having only one language (English) so I usually tend to go for these even though my region is most likely to be (E)

Sometimes I'll switch to (U) if its dumped after the (E) release, since the saves are usually interchangeable.

I usually wait for (U). But some games I'll make an exception for if their (E) or (J) versions already contain English (Phoenix Wright, Sonic Rush Adventure) or don't need reading to play (Kirby Squeak Squad). Sometimes other reasons such as highly anticipated games (Pokemon Pearl).

I usually wait until they come out into my language...region doesn't matter.

All that matters to me is that the text is in English and I can hopefully enjoy the game and it's story.

As long as English is selectable, I don't care what region a game is from.

I'll worry about picking and choosing the region when more than one version exists. In that case, I usually go for the (U) version.....or the version that has the best cheat codes....even though I really don't use them.

There is no release in my region. So I basically get what I can read or whichever I feel like getting.

Off-topic: Oh hello ZAFDeltaForce, didn't notice there is someone else from Singapore here.

They seem to be smaller sometimes because they don't have so many other languages in it. An example would be Brain Age 2. If they're both the same size, then which ever is first.
