..This is a weird one! Thing is, when NES Metroid first came out (and this was when I played it!) it was absolutely fukkin amazing..... Obviously though Zero Mission is the better game, and of course would be everyones choice were they released at roughly the same time ..but I've got to vote for the original simply because of the blast I had on its release! It's the wrong choice, I know that, but it's my choice
There is no right choice, just your preference for whatever reason.
The question is what did you like more, not what Metroid is technically better,
which would make this question unfair since GBA one is technically better....
so anyway, no wrong answer, i wanted to hear other opinions anyway.
Everything counts not just technical aspect. After all we do not play and
love games because they are technically good. I actually hate many of games
that has great visuals and like more games that are trashy visually...but again,
that's now up for debate if they are really trashy even if they are inferior graphically,
cause what we like has so little to do with perfection but other factors,
and that's totally valid to me.
Zero Mission adds much more extra stuff and is not ridiculously difficult to complete unlike the NES Metroid (You get a map and it's much easier to gather health and discover items. NES Metroid you will need to peak online on maps to know where you're going because you need to destroy grounds you cannot see).
