I ran the wii tracker and i got the following message:-

There is a 50% chance that your drive chip is a GC2-D2C

There is a 50% chance that the pins on your drive chip are not cut.

my wii starts with LU56**** series. which modchip will work for me? by the way, is foundmy the cheapest place to get mod chips? any other recommendations?

What does it mean that the drive chip are not cut?

Thanks!

Wasabi or D2Pro, go with Wasabi if you can since D2Pro is a ***** to update.

EDIT: Depends where you live, D2C are NEVER cut, so no worries about that.

Better make an OpenWii one.
They are the best in my opinion.
Compatible with all drives, fast updates etc etc.
It cost me around 3euros to make it and 2 euros
to make the programmer.
