Hacking Where to start with a XboX 360, how do I set it up after the hard-mods? how do I upgrade storage ?

hello I will have a xbox 360 with dual nand and a flashed drive soon.
how do you set up the storage can you use a usb splitter with a lot of usb hard drives? what is the max hard drive size is it fat32 as you can have more than 2tb with fat32 if it is partitioned in the right way.
is there a hard drive on the side of phat a xbox360?

how do I set up the stock nand?

flash drives and modchips I know a bit about since last week I am just starting to look into this.

is there any other cool stuff like sonar speekers and the pcb that you can hook it up with. I like that!
"I think I will have my PCB on the out side so I can change the sounds to any thing easy".


PS is the 360 Xbox Live going ok they are not going to discontinue it soon?

I.. advise against using USB drives.
Especially since you got a RGH.

Anyway, on the retail side, i'd keep everything stock.
Hacked side, swap out the HDD for a 2TB HDD perhaps?

One tut you can follow to install FSD (and setup your hacked machine) can be found here.
You can substitute FSD for Aurora if needed.

plus could you use a storage swapper with a switch in a 360?

what is the differance in the fat hdd, slim hdd or even the slim e?

the RGH whats with it not being good for a usb device ?

Aside from the caddy, no difference in internal HDDs.

By buying your games.

RGH boxes can take 2TB drives internally.
You can add USB drives, I personally just don't trust them.

Xkeys work with USB hubs, know someone who had 3 2TB drives attached to it.

USB is prone to failures due to the frequency of plugging it in/out.
Not to mention pets or fools can yank on the cords.

It's the chords mostly.
Flashdrives are amazing!

Mostly ejecting it.
Turning the console off/on.. it might impact it a bit.
Atleast, corrupting files if anything is written to it.

Never tested it but you could try a USB hub on it a RGH.

I have seen you post about the sundrive for the wii before I like that style man

I am thinking that I should get a few 2tb usb drives with "switches on a usb hub" for the max amount of games (if I ever will do that). just switch between the drives when the system is off. it is good to know this stuff plus a bit stupid since I own loads of games any way

I am pretty sure you can use a hub with a 360, I use one on my wii for a keyboard and stuff.
PS never use a "usb hub" for a drive on a wii they hate it, but ok with keyboards accessory on a splitter.

Idk, I think that with 2TB, you pretty much got the 360's library that's worth playing.
Maybe 4TB.

Wii's are already so small.
Internal solution is better imho.
Besides, no ugly loaders on the menu.
